Kim Wilson LVT, CDBC, CHBC, CPDT-KA
Kim graduated SUNY Ulster Veterinary Technology program, with honors, in 2010. Prior to being a licensed technician she had worked with equine and small animal vets, as a ride along assistant and helping owners treat animals at their farm or home. Kim has a special interest in animal behavior, alternative treatment, exotic animal husbandry, nutrition, and wildlife rehabilitation.
She has been training animals professionally since 1981, although training began in early childhood with a variety of species including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, goats, a raccoon, a brother, an opossum, and as an adult added working with various domestic, exotic, & zoo animals.
Kim worked for a Board Certified Veterinary Behaviorist, interned at University of California – Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, in their Behavior Service, has co-taught the Behavior Medicine course at SUNY Ulster’s VeterinaryTechnology program.
Kim has two degrees in Equine Science, a minor in Dairy Cattle Management, a degree in Veterinary Technology, is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and is on track to sit for her boards as a Veterinary Technician Specialist - (Behavior) in 2019.
Her greatest loves are learning, observing, teaching, volunteering for: a wildlife rehabilitation center and 4H, running a small scale rat rescue, and DANCING for fun, joy, and health!
Kim currently shares her life with her saint of a husband Bill, 5 dogs, and 2 cats.

Bill has been training dogs since 1999. He apprenticed with his wife & professional trainer, Kim. He is compassionate with both dogs and their handlers. Bill specializes in puppy classes, agility, and loose leash walking. He is a judge for WCRL Rally Obedience, and takes continuing education yearly. Bill also works with behavior cases.
Bill's calm demeanor lends itself well to working with all animals. He is fairly new to handling horses, but applies the same training philosophy, as he does with dogs and his wife, to achieve tremendous results.
In his free time, Bill enjoys continuing education, walks with his dog, reading, and looking for Big Foot.
Laraine Caliri DVM
As a kid in Canton, MA, Dr. Laraine Caliri was that kid that brought home every creature she found wanting to keep it as a pet. She knew she wanted to be a vet and worked as a stable hand, groomer, trainer, zookeeper, and vet tech along the way. She graduated from Ross University in 1998 and worked in few small animal hospitals as well as an emergency clinic here in the Hudson Valley.
Dr. Caliri has special interests in birds, reptiles and alternative therapies. She breeds rare poultry in addition to training, breeding and showing her dogs. Some of her hobbies include visiting Cape Cod and spending time at the beach.
